Susan Hyatt is a licensed therapist. She earned her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado in Denver. Throughout a lifetime, most people experience a variety of issues such as stress, sadness, loneliness, anger, grief, or suffer from PTSD symptoms which can be overwhelming. In struggling with these issues, developing healthy relationships and functioning daily may become a challenge. We all have the ability to heal our past and present wounds and in the process move forward to a more fulfilling life. Susan works with her clients to uncover the obstacles that are blocking the authentic life desired. She uses a variety of therapies to help her clients, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). Susan’s approach is collaborative. Together the therapist and client work to set goals and monitor progress. She encourages greater self-awareness which in turn disrupts old thought patterns and reveals new ways of thinking. Providing a safe environment, Susan works with the client to develop skills to help discover who it is that God created them to be.
