Gina Lanz

Mrs. Gina Lanz has been working with young people and families for over 20 years in the areas of school counseling, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, catechesis and youth leadership. Gina’s area of interest is engaging each student in a journey of self-discovery and encouraging a belief in their individual capacity to grow in virtue and identity as a child of God. This approach sets the stage for the practical work of teaching students coping, problem-solving and social skills which are necessary to learn and be happy in school. Individual and small group counseling, class lessons such as “managing our big emotions”, collaborating with teachers and parents to support a student’s school success, having hope, and celebrating accomplishments are crucial components of Gina’s work in Catholic schools.
