MIchael D’esterre - msw, licsw
Michael has worked with families in diverse situations. Among his areas of experience are: trauma, attachment, adolescent males, addiction (in particular pornography), developmental disabilities, social media and technology use, and vocational discernment. Spending a lengthy amount of time in formation, Michael identifies with the emotional struggles that can arise in the process of discovering God’s plan for your life. Michael also serves Veterans with their unique challenges of reintegration into civilian life. Lastly, it is a great joy of Michael’s to support and assist marriages and families with the particular challenges they face in growth and change. He has a particular fondness for the saints and incorporates lessons from their lives into the self-learning of therapy.
Jacob Frazier - lmhc, ma, ncc
Jacob Frazier, LMHC, MA, NCC, is a mental health counselor with Archangel Catholic. Jacob holds a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gonzaga University. As a mental health counselor, Jacob has a passion for facilitating personal and interpersonal development, vocational/career discernment, and helping people apply their strengths and Catholic faith to the challenges of daily living.
Jacob has extensive clinical history of assessing and working with clients experiencing emotional dysregulation, depression, anxiety, struggling with relationships and commitment, facing addictions, and struggling with trauma. Jacob is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which he used on a treatment team that served individuals with moderate to severe diagnoses. Jacob is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) centered on posttraumatic stress related to abuse, neglect, and other traumatic life experiences. He also has an interest in helping men foster a healthy understanding of masculinity and assist in cultivating virtue.
Jared Tawney - LMFT
Jared Tawney earned his Master’s degree from Whitworth University and an undergraduate degree in psychology from CSU Bakersfield. Jared’s graduate research focused on Medical Family Therapy which looks at how patients and their families cope with illness and interact with larger medical systems. He has a passion for psychology and lectures for Whitworth, teaching Introduction to Psychology, Psychopathology, and Personality.
Jared also has a deep interest in working with couples using his training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, one of the most empirically supported therapy modalities aimed at treating relational distress. In addition to couples therapy, Jared loves working with families and individuals on a wide variety of psychological issues.
He combines theories and techniques from multiple therapeutic disciplines including Gottman Method, Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, ACT and DBT as well as stoic, pragmatic, and existential philosophies. Overall, he’s concerned with what works: Practical strategies that allow people to face their problems, conquer them, and become the heroes of their own story.

Tyler Cline - Practice manager
Tyler has spent his professional career in and around businesses helping them run strong and grow. After graduating from EWU he worked as a FOCUS missionary for four years. This gave him a love for Catholic organizations and understanding how they can more effectively love the people of God. He is passionate about helping organizations impact their communities more profoundly and helping to heal the mental health struggles our world experiences.
